How to clean the air filters of different material?
1: Non-Woven Filter Element: Dry Cleaning Method (Disposable Product) Principle: Dust removal only, no washing with water, regular replacement required.
a.Remove: Turn off the device power and carefully remove the filter element.
b.Dust Removal:
Best Method: Use the soft brush attachment of a household vacuum cleaner. Gently vacuum along the pleats of the filter using medium to low suction.
Alternative Method: Hold the filter over a trash bin and gently tap its frame to dislodge loose dust.
c.Reinstall/Replace: Check for any damage, then reinstall it. Once it reaches its replacement interval (typically 1-3 months) or appears significantly darkened or emits odors, it must be discarded and replaced with a new one.
Warning: Using water will permanently damage the fiber structure, rendering the filter ineffective.

2.Cotton Yarn Filter Element (Oiled Filter): Professional Cleaning Method (Reusable)
Principle: Use dedicated kit, clean and re-oil, restore performance.
The cotton yarn filter element (typically red or white, with an oily feel to the touch) relies on a specially formulated oil coating to trap dust and requires a dedicated maintenance method.
Required Tools: The dedicated filter cleaner and filter oil (do not use substitutes).
Steps:
Pre-cleaning: Gently tap the filter to remove large dust particles.
a.Apply Cleaner: Spray the dedicated cleaner evenly on both the inside and outside of the filter element, ensuring all soiled areas are covered.
b.Soak: Let it sit for 10-15 minutes, allowing the cleaner to dissolve the oil and dirt.
c.Rinse: Rinse gently with room-temperature water from the clean inside towards the dirty outside (against the direction of airflow) until the water runs clear. Do not use a high-pressure water jet.
d.Air Dry Naturally: Shake off excess water and place it in a cool, well-ventilated area to dry completely, ensuring the interior is fully dry (this usually takes several hours).
e.Apply Filter Oil: Apply the dedicated filter oil evenly to the outside (air intake side) of the filter element. The amount of oil is crucial—apply a thin, even layer until it turns a translucent red. Avoid over-oiling.
f.Reinstall and Use: Allow the oil to soak in for about 20 minutes before reinstalling the filter.

3. Stainless Steel Mesh Filter: Water Washing Cleaning Method (Reusable)
Principle: Wash, scrub clean, and check integrity.
a. Remove: It is usually a metal mesh and can be taken off directly.
b. Soak:Soak it in hot water with dish soap or a kitchen degreaser for 10-20 minutes to soften grease and grime.
c. Scrub: Use a soft-bristled brush (e.g., an old toothbrush) to carefully scrub both sides of the mesh, removing all grease, sludge, and blockages.
d. Rinse: Rinse it thoroughly with clean water.
e. Dry/Wipe Dry: Dry it with a clean cloth or let it air dry naturally, ensuring no water spots remain.
f.Inspect: Check the mesh for any damage or deformation against a light source. Replace it if necessary.
